Join a dynamic residential care provider in Sutton, Surrey, supporting male adults aged 18 to 65 with mental health needs. The role is responsible for the daily care of service users and provides management support, with the opportunity to step into a Registered Manager position within 6 months. Duties include promoting care home values and policies, supporting independent living, developing and reviewing individual care plans, liaising with families and other stakeholders, assisting with staff leadership, budgets, recruitment, supervisions and rotas, coordinating temporary staff and volunteers, and maintaining compliance with legislation. Applicants should have experience supporting people with mental health needs, awareness of care home management, strong organisational and communication skills, a minimum Level 3 NVQ or QCF in Health and Social Care, at least 2 years of management or supervisory experience or extensive recent Senior Care Support Worker experience, good IT skills and a current full UK driving licence.
