The dean serves as the chief academic and administrative officer of Seaver College and reports to the University provost. Responsibilities include overseeing enrollment, curriculum, strategic planning, budget, student affairs, international programmes, and college personnel. The ideal candidate will hold an earned doctoral degree and have considerable academic and administrative experience, significant scholarly activity, and evidence of excellence in teaching and service meriting tenure and full professor status. Candidates should demonstrate commitment to the undergraduate experience, teaching excellence, student success, scholarship, strategic planning, budget management, faculty and staff supervision, fundraising, collaboration, diversity and belonging, and Pepperdine University's Christian mission.
