St. Nicks Alliance is seeking a full-time custodian to work in various buildings in Brooklyn. Under the supervision of the superintendent and area property manager, the custodian cleans and maintains assigned buildings, performs general repairs, prepares vacant units for compliance with local and state regulations, removes snow and ice, and assists with property functions and make-ready work. Duties include cleaning common areas and exteriors, floor care, restroom sanitation, trash removal, basic electrical, plumbing and carpentry repairs, painting, and minor apartment repairs. Applicants should have a high school diploma or two years of work experience, be able to prioritize tasks, work independently, handle multiple tasks with attention to detail, lift up to 50 pounds, use stairs, and climb a 6-foot ladder.
