Provide ICU on-call coverage at Toronto Western Hospital, including taking signover, responding to nursing requests and overnight consultations, managing calls from inpatient wards, the emergency room, operating room or PACU, and the Critical Care Response Team, and resuscitating newly admitted or deteriorating patients. Duties may include invasive lines and pharmacological or mechanical supports. Maintain the team signout list, participate in end-of-shift signover, and assist with comprehensive ICU rounds on weekends. Close communication with the ICU fellow is expected.
