Provide ICU call coverage from 1700 to 0700 the following morning and remain in-house for the duration of the shift. Duties include responding to ICU pages and overnight issues, Rapid Response Team pages, consultations from inpatient wards, the emergency department and PACU, and admitting ICU patients from Criticall, the operating room, or outside sites. The moonlighter functions as a resident physician while the supervising attending remains the most responsible physician.
