SOSO is seeking a freelance Digital Designer to work with its multidisciplinary studio on a project-by-project basis. The role involves designing multisensory experiences across mobile apps, touchscreen interfaces, architectural lighting installations, and immersive environments. Responsibilities include designing digital experiences, creating and working within design systems, contributing throughout the design process, developing image-based concepts, designing for live data and dynamic content, working across UX, UI, and visual design, producing mockups of physical installations, preparing client proposals and presentations, and collaborating with architects, developers, and project managers. The ideal candidate has expert knowledge of Figma, Sketch, Photoshop, and InDesign, a strong visual design aesthetic and typography skills, attention to detail, and a degree in graphic design or a related field with some professional design experience. Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript, Processing, Final Cut Pro, or motion graphics software is a bonus. Compensation ranges from $50 to $100 per hour based on experience and skill level.
