Lead weekly paddle events and onboarding events, guide new paddlers through renting a Buoy board, teach safe paddleboarding practices, lead one hour group trips, and show new paddlers how the Buoy locker works. Applicants must be experienced water enthusiasts, communicate effectively and frequently, commit to scheduled events, have their own transportation and a smartphone to access the locker. Experience leading groups and water safety training are valued, and local historical or ecosystem knowledge is a bonus. The role has more responsibilities during summer and may slow down in winter. Buoy offers an hourly rate of $25 and an opportunity to grow with the team as it expands.
