St Mary's Church is seeking a part-time Communications & Media Co-ordinator for maternity cover, working 1.5 to 2.5 days per week. The role supports the church's communications, media and digital presence, including planning and writing the weekly newsletter, coordinating information about events, managing social media content, editing sermons for YouTube and podcast platforms, uploading media, and creating graphics, flyers, posters, web banners and notice slides. The successful candidate will have strong written communication skills, experience managing social media and scheduling content, Adobe Creative Suite graphic design skills, basic video and audio editing skills, good organisation, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Previous communications, marketing or media experience, newsletter or email marketing experience, familiarity with church media, and an understanding of branding and digital engagement are desirable. Salary is pro rata based on £30,000 to £32,000 depending on experience, with 25 days' paid holiday plus bank holidays pro rata and office closure between Christmas and New Year. The role has an Occupational Requirement to be a Christian, and the successful candidate is asked to attend St Mary's. Start date: 6 July 2026.
