Moritt Hock & Hamroff is seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Lending Attorney with 7+ years of experience for its Plantation, Florida office. The role focuses on representing institutional and private lenders in complex financing transactions secured by commercial real estate and related assets, including commercial mortgage loans, construction loans, bridge loans, mezzanine financings, syndicated credit facilities, and other secured financing transactions. Responsibilities include managing, structuring, documenting, and negotiating transactions from inception through closing, conducting due diligence, advising clients on deal structure and financing terms, coordinating closings, collaborating across practice groups, developing client relationships, contributing to business development, and supervising junior attorneys. Qualifications include a Juris Doctor from an accredited law school, admission to practice law in good standing in Florida, extensive commercial real estate finance or secured lending experience primarily in Florida, strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, and the ability to independently manage and close transactions. A portable book of business is strongly preferred.
