Role closed. Join SPG Canada’s Healthcare and Life Sciences team, helping drive growth and profitability by building broker relationships and managing a book of business. Responsibilities include analysing risks, quoting and renewing policies, handling endorsements, negotiating coverage, supporting broker partnerships, maintaining compliance and documentation, completing loss reports, and conducting post-claim underwriting reviews. Candidates should have at least 2 years of commercial P&C underwriting experience or 5 years of brokering experience, with healthcare and life sciences experience considered an asset. A CIP or CAIB designation, or active pursuit of one, a broker licence or ability to qualify within 90 days, Microsoft Office proficiency, and familiarity with Canadian legal structures are required. This hybrid or remote position has a preference for candidates in Ontario or British Columbia. Benefits include dental care, extended health care, paid time off, RRSP matching, and vision care. The expected salary range is $60,000 to $75,000.
