The role also includes drafting and negotiating contracts for new development projects, providing transactional and litigation experience. Qualifications include a J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school, New York State Bar admission, at least 3 years of commercial or construction litigation experience, strong legal writing, discovery management, case management, deposition, communication, negotiation, and legal technology skills. New Jersey Bar admission and federal court admissions are strongly preferred.
