Join the Covent Garden, Borough Market and Bermondsey shop teams. The role involves selling coffee, offering samples and tasting with customers, learning to prepare espresso and filter-based drinks, and carrying out shop and café duties including tills, clearing and dishes, and stock management. Previous experience in coffee, hospitality or a kitchen is preferred but not essential. Applicants should have a genuine interest in learning about coffee and looking after people, provide exemplary customer-focused service, work well within a busy team, be self-motivated and keen to learn, and have fluent English speaking and listening skills. The role includes staff cuppings and ongoing training, 250g of free coffee each week, discounts on coffee and merchandise, a generous pension contribution, a cycle to work scheme, and 5.6 weeks of paid holiday. Guaranteed-hours contracts are available for part-time work, 3 or 4 days per week. Availability on Saturdays and full flexibility for opening shifts from 6.45am and closing shifts until 8pm are required. Starting rate is £15.50 per hour.
