Avita Psychological Care is seeking qualified clinicians with full, limited, or provisional New York licenses, including LMSWs, LMHCs, and post-doctoral Ph.D. and Psy.D. clinicians. The role involves providing evidence-based psychotherapeutic and counseling services and building long-term therapeutic relationships with diverse clients. Ideal candidates are warm, compassionate, non-judgmental, empathic, patient, self-aware, curious, proactive, reliable, trustworthy, dedicated, and committed to growth. Experience or interest in CBT, DBT, EMDR, IFS, and psychodynamic psychotherapy is preferred. Part-time employees work a minimum of 15 clients per week and receive a competitive fee-for-service rate based on experience and training, including 401K and PTO. The practice also offers flexible scheduling, administrative support, remote work, ongoing training, clinical support and supervision, and professional guidance. New York office sessions are currently telehealth only.
