CICA seeks second year master's students in a relevant clinical program, such as Master of Social Work, for an unpaid internship. Interns handle a caseload of up to 10 to 15 outpatient clients for individual or couples' psychotherapy, conduct assessments, create treatment plans, complete clinical documentation, attend supervision, consultations, meetings and trainings, and collaborate with the administration and leadership team. Interns can develop and lead or co-lead a clinical group, shadow clinicians, create trainings, participate in bi-weekly group discussions, and complete impact projects. Applicants must have at least one year or two semesters of clinical service experience. The role is hybrid, with 50% of client-facing time in person and 50% remote, requires approximately 24 hours per week, and includes a required in-person meeting on the first Wednesday of each month from 9am to 10am. Candidates are expected to provide compassionate, culturally integrative care and work collaboratively while developing independent clinical skills. Successful candidates can expect to begin on or around September 1, 2026.
