Telamon Engineering Consultants, Inc. is a civil engineering design and land surveying firm serving public works, commercial development, and residential development. The successful candidate will gain hands-on experience in civil engineering design and survey CAD work for public and private projects around the Bay Area. Requirements include a BS in Civil Engineering, proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D CAD production, and 1 to 3 or more years of experience in an engineering-related field. Preferred qualifications include experience with CAD utility plan layout, minor grading, demolition and site improvement plans, general notes, roadway geometric layout and profile, detail sheet preparation, public work projects, CAD standards, and local candidacy, as well as EIT, QSD or QSP, and LEED Green Associate credentials. Duties include coordinating with public agencies and private industries, identifying discrepancies between site conditions and existing surveys, incorporating existing utility information into base maps under PE or PM direction, preparing meeting agendas and minutes, maintaining project directories, and setting up project sheets.
