Happy Dragon is seeking a dedicated Special Education Lead Teacher to manage a special education classroom for young children with special needs. Responsibilities include creating an inclusive learning environment, developing and implementing individualized education plans, providing differentiated instruction, monitoring student progress, collaborating with families, therapists, and education professionals, maintaining records, pursuing professional development, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Applicants must hold Teacher Certification in Early Childhood Education, Birth to 2, and Teacher Certification in Early Childhood Special Education, Birth to 2. Experience leading a classroom, knowledge of child development and special education strategies, strong communication and organizational skills, and a compassionate, patient approach are required. A master's degree and experience in a diverse, urban educational setting are preferred.
