Happy Tails is looking for casual dog walkers, minders and/or drivers to join its pack in Sydney's Inner West. The role would best suit someone training to be a vet or vet nurse who lives in or near the Inner West and is familiar with the area. Applicants should be hardworking, reliable and self-motivated, have extensive experience with different types of dogs, be physically fit and able to lift more than 20 kg, and be passionate about animal care. Industry-specific qualifications and more than two years of experience in the animal care industry are sought. Applicants must have a car and driver's licence and be happy to drive around Sydney. Duties may include walking dogs, picking up dog poo, walking dogs in unfavourable weather, transporting client dogs, administering medication, minding dogs in their own home, chasing dogs if they get away, intervening in dog fights, restraining dogs when necessary, and providing clients with advice and support about their dog's care.
