SAB Capital's New York office is seeking an experienced Mortgage Originator for its commercial real estate advisory team. The role is responsible for sourcing, managing, and placing new business, including building relationships with real estate advisors, sponsors, and corporations, converting relationships into exclusive financing mandates, assisting with transactions from client pitches through closings, overseeing credit underwriting, identifying appropriate lenders, performing deal analysis, supporting negotiations and executions, managing due diligence materials, and attending relevant conferences and events. Qualifications include a bachelor's degree or equivalent, at least 3 years of loan origination experience, strong interpersonal, organizational, written, verbal, analytical, and problem-solving skills, comfort working with senior executives and Type A personalities, proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reading P&L statements, and a demonstrated commitment to outstanding results.
