Work at a U.S. summer camp for 8 to 10 weeks from June through August, leading activities, supervising and engaging with campers, and participating in evening events such as campfires, dances, and stargazing. Roles may focus on activities including sports, arts, music, outdoor adventure, or supporting campers with special needs. Formal professional experience is not required, although skills or experience in sports, arts, music, outdoor activities, or youth work can strengthen an application. Applicants must be at least 18 by the camp start date, have conversational English, a clean criminal record, and availability for the full camp season. Accommodation, meals, medical insurance, J-1 visa sponsorship and guidance, pre-departure orientation, and 24/7 in-country support are provided. AmeriCamp guarantees a minimum salary of $2,250 for the camp season.
