The role involves developing a targeted business development strategy, leveraging existing relationships, generating and qualifying leads, frameworks and funding opportunities, working with bid writing teams on tenders and frameworks, attending industry and stakeholder events, monitoring government policy and funding schemes, collaborating with delivery teams, and reporting on sales activity and pipeline progress. Candidates should have proven business development experience in renewables, construction or retrofit, demonstrable relationships with housing associations or local authorities, knowledge of retrofit programmes, and experience contributing to successful tender submissions.
