Join The Great Bubble Barrier in Amsterdam and help fight plastic pollution by shaping the finance strategy and ensuring the organisation's financial health. You will produce and analyse financial information, maintain accurate financial administration, provide analysis and forecasting, manage budgets and reporting, support risk management, funding applications and investor relations, and advise directors on financial decisions. The role requires 1 to 3 years of experience in financial or business control, knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting, experience with the Dutch tax system, proficiency in English, experience with accounting software preferably Exact Online, and an interest in ocean health, sustainability and preventing plastic pollution. The position is office-based with flexibility for remote work, offers 30 to 40 working hours per week, and has potential progression to Head of Finance. Salary is €3,500 to €4,500 gross for 40 hours per week, plus holiday allowance and additional benefits including 25 holidays, pension contribution, public transport compensation, flexible working, free lunch, social drinks, team events and a centrally located Amsterdam office.
