Provides exceptional service and hospitality while creating positive, friendly guest interactions. Responsibilities include learning La Tropical menus and beers, greeting guests, taking and preparing beverage orders, processing payments, maintaining bar stock and cleanliness, preparing garnishes and other service items, presenting menus and answering food and beverage questions, clearing and resetting tables, and reporting equipment or maintenance issues. Candidates must be at least 21 years old, have prior service experience in a high-volume restaurant or pub, and be willing to work flexible shifts including weekends, holidays, and overtime. Strong organization, problem-solving, communication, teamwork, cash-handling, and basic math skills are required. A Responsible Beverage Service Certificate and Food Handler Certificate are required upon hire. General craft beer knowledge is desired, and candidates should be willing to complete Beer Server Cicerone Training. The role requires standing for most of the shift and lifting and carrying up to 60 pounds.
