M.M.Warburg & CO regularly offers Bank Clerk trainee positions. Training starts on 1 August, lasts 2 to 2.5 years and requires a very good high school diploma or higher education entrance exam. Working time is 39 hours per week, with 30 days of holiday plus Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve. Training includes classic private customer business, securities trading, stays at subsidiaries and seminars. Trainees receive an experienced private customer advisor as a mentor and focus on learning key qualifications rather than achieving sales goals. Compensation is 13 salary payments under the collective agreement in the private banking industry: EUR 1,150 gross in the first year, EUR 1,220 gross in the second year and EUR 1,300 gross in the third year, plus EUR 40 per month in asset-creating benefits and a company pension subsidy.
