The role involves managing commercial litigation matters, conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, discovery requests and responses, motions and memoranda, taking and defending depositions, appearing in court, assisting with trials, arbitrations and mediations, communicating with clients and counsel, and staying current on developments in commercial and business litigation law. Qualifications include a J.D. from an accredited law school, admission to practice in Florida, strong writing, analytical and organizational skills, experience with discovery, motion practice and depositions, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
