Audition repertoire for the October 2026 preliminaries, semi-finals, and finals includes solo works, orchestral solos, orchestral passages, chamber music with Boston Symphony Chamber Players, and sight reading. Candidates may use their own music but should be prepared to use BSO parts if requested. The Audition Committee reserves the right to dismiss immediately any candidate not meeting the highest standards at these auditions.
