Oversee daily educational programs and initiatives at en Avant School, an outreach academy providing dance opportunities and tutoring to youth from underserved families. Conduct ballet and other dance classes as principal teacher, collaborate with faculty and stakeholders to deliver the curriculum according to the company mission, evaluate program effectiveness, mentor educators, support strategic planning, and represent the organization at conferences, workshops, and community events. Candidates should have experience managing complex educational programs, strategic planning skills, education administration experience in dance and academic settings, strong leadership and communication skills, and a commitment to inclusive education. Spanish is preferred. The role is full-time, includes dental and health insurance, requires an 8 hour shift, and is performed in person in East Palo Alto, California.
