Milk Crate Theatre is seeking experienced facilitating and teaching artists, preferably with experience in devised work, while remaining open to all art forms and art expressions. Facilitators work collaboratively through devised theatre practices, respond flexibly to participants' needs, maintain professional boundaries, use best practice Community Arts and Cultural Development methodology, design accessible and engaging programs, collaborate with fellow facilitating artists, and encourage play, joy and participants' strengths. Experience with programs that support skills development, creative and personal growth, strengths-based practice and trauma-informed care is relevant to the work.
