native north is seeking a motivated and ambitious Architect to work on private residential houses and small scale new-build affordable housing projects. Responsibilities include developing and communicating architectural design ideas, preparing and delivering project outputs, collaborating with clients, contractors and consultants, producing coordinated working drawing packages, managing tender processes, carrying out site inspections and ensuring risk, quality, legal issues and best practice guidelines are met. Applicants should have at least 2 years of post-qualification experience as an ARB Registered Architect, excellent design and technical skills, and proficiency in Revit, Enscape, Adobe Creative Cloud, specification writing and Microsoft Office. A good understanding of RIBA work stages, planning processes and Building Regulations is required. The role is based in London and remotely, with flexible and hybrid working, training and development, professional membership and subscription fee payments, pension contributions, annual leave and paid volunteering time.
