The department offers approximately 9,000 anatomical pathology specimens annually, general histopathology training, one-to-one instruction, specialist cut-up, multiheader microscopy, reporting cases, metropolitan teaching via videoconference and telepathology, provided accommodation and federal funding of approximately $6,000 per year for course and conference attendance.
