Analysts help identify, evaluate, and execute investment opportunities by conducting research and outreach, meeting founders, evaluating potential investments, modeling financial projections, conducting financial diligence, pitching companies to the investment team, and helping drive the diligence process. The role requires strong analytical skills, excellent relationship-building abilities, intellectual curiosity, and a passion for investing. Analysts work in a collaborative, social office with structure and mentorship, opportunities to attend conferences, lead teach-ins, publish research, build a network of venture capital and founder contacts, and present sourced companies during investment meetings. Analysts are paired one on one with a VP or above for weekly development meetings and receive feedback in a collaborative, feedback-driven culture.
