Analyst and interns are assigned roles in quantitative financial research, statistical and predictive modelling, factor investment strategy, and content research and marketing. Responsibilities include designing, implementing and deploying investment algorithms, researching and enhancing trading strategies with a dedicated mentor, managing and validating financial data, supporting portfolio managers, building quantitative models, preparing reports, assisting with daily operations, backtesting strategies, conducting financial literature reviews, researching market trends and opportunities, supporting marketing and business development, and running data queries in R, SQL and Excel. Requirements include pursuing or having completed an undergraduate degree or higher, native level proficiency in Excel, Python, R, C++ or another object-oriented programming language, and strong analytical, presentation, organisational and critical thinking skills. Preferred qualifications include a degree in Mathematics, Finance, Physics, Statistics, Data Analytics or Computer Science, mastery of data analysis, forecasting and database management, an interest in quantitative finance and investments, and prior experience in finance, hedge funds, private equity or venture capital.
