Cafeína Ética is seeking an administrator for its specialty coffee project in Bogotá. The role involves directing daily café operations, leading a small team, improving customer experience, increasing sales and controlling costs. Responsibilities include overseeing bar, kitchen, service and cleaning procedures, food safety, inventory, cash handling, sales and expense reporting, local marketing, events and commercial partnerships. The role also supports the development of a coffee school and roastery laboratory. Applicants should have at least 2 years of experience as an administrator or supervisor in food and beverage, or 1 year in specialty coffee with administrative responsibilities, plus food safety knowledge, functional Excel skills, organisation, prioritisation and leadership. Experience improving sales, controlling costs and reading basic profit and loss reports is highly desirable. The role is permanent and full time, with a base salary of $2.5 million plus a results bonus, 15 days' paid holiday, specialty coffee during shifts, free English classes, potential travel to London for training and participation in social projects in Colombia.
