An annual Kleinbasel celebration held alternately on 13, 20 or 27 January. The Wild Man floats down the Rhine on a raft accompanied by gun salutes, followed by a dance through Kleinbasel with a lion and the griffin known as Vogel Gryff. Drummers and people in traditional costumes complete the spectacle.
