The Verkehrskundeunterricht, VKU, is a theoretical preparation for driving a motor vehicle and supports practical driving lessons. The course consists of 8 lessons and is intended for holders of a valid learner's permit in categories A, A1 or B. Topics include road safety, sensory functions, vehicle safety, driving forces, driving ability, environmental awareness and tactical rules. The course takes place every week and includes a course workbook. The weekend format runs on Friday from 17:30 to 21:30 and Saturday from 09:00 to 13:00.
