Hallsville Primary School has been awarded the UKLA/OU Reading for Pleasure Quality Mark Gold. The award recognises an embedded reading for pleasure culture and its impact on staff knowledge and pedagogy, parents' recreational reading and children's recreational reading. The school is invited to celebrate with staff and students, and an event exclusively for Quality Mark schools is hoped to take place in 2026.
