Grants from the Ironmongers’ Foundation support charities running STEM initiatives for disadvantaged young people aged 11 to 18, with a particular emphasis on Materials Science. Projects should not be part of government-funded school budgets, should provide measurable outcomes and should include project descriptions, expected outcomes, budgets and evaluation plans. Applications are assessed three times a year, with deadlines in December, April and August.
