A four-day, in-person course covering slinger and signaller introductions, lifting equipment, slinging techniques, hand signals, radio communication, lifting paperwork, assessment preparation, work experience or shadowing, earning potential and one-to-one tuition. The course includes a written theory test and a practical exam by an independent third-party assessor. No previous experience or site time is required, but a good level of spoken English is required. Successful completion provides CPCS accreditation.
