Details.
Rugby welcomes players of all sizes and shapes. Two teams try to place an oval leather ball in the opposing in-goal area. The ball may be passed sideways and backwards, kicked forwards and carried. This is a contact sport requiring team-oriented play. Weatherproof clothing, suitable footwear for artificial turf, a mouthguard and non-marking indoor shoes are recommended. During the winter break from December to February, indoor strength and conditioning training followed by ball games, passing and tackle training is offered. A trial session is possible only in the first stated course week, subject to available capacity.
