A yearly Newtowne tradition celebrating the new season through light, music, and community. Around the shift from Daylight Savings time, the community gathers for a pizza and potluck dinner, then parades to nearby Cambridge Common with family and faculty musicians. Children and families are encouraged to sing, shake, dance, or shine their light as evening falls.
