Details.
A short hypo awareness training topic for health and social care staff working in an outpatient setting, such as community or care. Depending on the selected CDEP level, the training covers identifying people at risk, recognising symptoms, treating different levels of hypos, glucose targets for different types of diabetes and identifying unrecognised hypos. The topic takes roughly 15 to 30 minutes and generates a certificate and reflection form for revalidation and appraisals.
