The Grand Central Food Program operates every night of the year. Three vans deliver hot stew, bread, fresh fruit, and juice or milk, as well as coats, hats, gloves, and blankets in colder weather, to approximately 1,000 homeless and hungry people. Service starts at St. Bart's, E 51st St. between Park and Lexington, followed by Downtown, Uptown, and Bronx van routes.
