The Military History Museum of the German Armed Forces in Gatow invites visitors to its annual Airfield Festival. The museum and depot can be freely visited, historic aircraft are open to visitors, and weather permitting, historical airplanes take off for an air show. The family-friendly program includes a bouncy castle, kite building, face painting, live stage entertainment, information and activity booths, and a traditional field kitchen serving pea soup.
