Free fruit and shade tree adoption. City of Los Angeles residents can adopt up to seven trees to plant in their yard. Bring proof of residence, such as photo ID with a Los Angeles city address or an LADWP bill. Trees come in 5-gallon containers and must be planted in the ground on private property. Walk-ups only.
