An annual competition for current students of the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, open to pianists, string and voice duos, and vocal or chamber ensembles. The competition has a private preliminary round at the music academy and a public final, with an eminent musician invited to adjudicate. Entrants prepare a programme lasting no more than 20 minutes, including at least 10 minutes of works by Delius.
