Details.
A six-month group program for highly contentious separated parents and their children, with accompanying parent consultations. The program begins with a network meeting, followed by nine separate concurrent group sessions for parents and children, plus five to seven accompanying parent consultations. The children's group focuses on resilience and expressing wishes, worries, and thoughts, while the parent group addresses destructive interaction patterns and develops constructive communication and conflict resolution. Families must be from Berlin or the surrounding area, children must be at least 5 years old, and all legal proceedings must have concluded or be suspended. Costs are covered by the youth welfare office. Courses start continuously in January and August.
