A two-day face-to-face introduction to acupuncture designed for HCPC registered Occupational Therapists and also open to Physiotherapists. The course covers safe needling, legislation, contraindications, physiological effects, acupuncture point anatomy and ten useful acupuncture points for clinical practice. Delegates undertake a practical needling safety test, and certification verifies attendance and successful completion. The course focuses on acupuncture as an adjunct to hand therapy and pain management.
