A school bridging theory and practice for efficient electronic structure calculations using ABINIT. The programme includes theoretical lessons from experts and hands-on sessions on a modern supercomputer, covering DFT basics, compilation and installation, HPC performance optimisation, molecular dynamics and more. Intended especially for new ABINIT users, including PhD students, postdocs and researchers beginning first-principles simulations. The school takes place in Bruyères-le-Châtel, France.
